About Nanzhen Yang
Nanzhen Yang (b. 1995) is an artist living and working in London, where she gained her MA Sculpture at the Royal College of Art in 2020. Recent exhibitions of her work include at Manor Place, London (2021), Royal Sculpture Society, London (2021), Wells Project, London (2020), ICA, London (2020), and Crypt Gallery, London (2019).
Yang’s practice focuses on the fragmented moments of contemporary life, collecting and re-coding these memories to allude to the notion of déjà vu. Yang works with drawings, paintings, video installation, and CGI-based audio-visual works.
